Eyebrowssssss

                                                                        Hi there!

Today was a very sad day for me today. It was a day filled with pure anxiety.....today was the day I had my eyebrows waxed.

So ever since I was very young, I've had extremely dark eyebrows which no one has been able to explain to me because everyone in my family has quite light eyebrows and blonde hair. I've also got blonde hair and I've always felt quite different compared to my everyone else in my family. Now, until I was about 11 when all this beauty and make-up craze starts to kick in I never even considered my eyebrows but when I actually thought about make-up and my appearance, I realised that they were very dark and very thick but in quite a good shape.

Regretfully since then, I've highly poked around with my eyebrows leaving them to be in all different states and there have been times where I have been happy with my brows and times where I wish I could shave them off and hope that a pair of perfectly pristine eyebrows would take place above my eyes.

So, I know that plenty have girls have been in the same position as me where we realise we have eyebrows and become obsessed with them. Sometimes I'd become so obsessed with them that they would be the last thing I thought about before I go to sleep. Also because I was so obsessed, I found myself pulling out my eyebrows when I was bored and it developed into a bad habit. Despite doing this, I would still wonder why my eyebrows were in such a bad condition and I would blame anything in the world except for that I was pulling them out.

These were my eyebrows just before I had them waxed. As you can see, they are completely out of shape from each other due to all the times when I've pulled them out and over-plucked them. They were probably in the worst condition hat they've ever been in and believe me when I say they have much thicker than that!

Pulling faces

and...... voilĂ !
Here are my new brows! When I first saw them, I'm ashamed to say that I thought they looked absolutely ridiculous. However, once the redness and swelling went down (every time I've had them waxed I've been prone to bad redness) I realised that they actually looked really even which I have always wanted from my brows.

I'm leaving them grow a little thicker because I'm not overly fond of thin eyebrows even though they're not exactly thin, I want them to be just a tad thicker but keep the shape. I'm glad to say that I've said goodbye to pulling out my eyebrows and constantly worrying over them and even though it sound really ridiculous, I'm feeling less stressed out.

So, I never thought I'd be able to conquer my fear of having thinner eyebrows but I did and I love how they look!

Hope you're having a lovely day and feel free to leave a comment about your shall I say experience with your brows:D

Future home observations

Hey there!

Today I found myself sitting here pondering about what I'd like my future home would look like. I've always wanted to design my own home but unless I become a millionaire which I'm highly doubtful of, it probably won't happen. But that doesn't mean that I can't at least think about what I'd like it to look like, right?
I've always liked modern, modern anything and I am all over it. I think the picture above is a perfect example of the type of architecture which I would absolutely die for. I've always wanted to take care of my own garden. Not one with hundreds of flowers but one where I can mow the lawn and sculpt trees (not in animal shapes though!)

I also think that simple is supreme. A lot of the time, I would say I prefer how simple-looking architecture looks over highly decorative. Although the picture shows an oddly shaped house, the detailing isn't at all over complicated.

Again with the living room, I believe spacious is key! But, with having a spacious living it's vital not to have too little furniture so that it look empty. Also, colour coordinating is very important as well as not having too much colour in one room to make it look untidy. Big windows are a must too! Basically, a living room like the one above is perfect!

How perfect is this kitchen interior? I am totally in love with fire places and this one is in such an unusual place that it's hard not to love. Also, I've always wanted a diner style table ever since I was younger. The kitchen is in such a tidy condition compared to the state in my kitchen. I love stairs in a kitchen too.

This is such a beautiful bathroom, just look at the shape of the bath, it's so amazing! I have never experienced a full glass shower either and I totally want one! A must is that the shower and bath are separate because I'm  fussy like that. I like a big, spacious bathroom.

When it comes to bedrooms, the size doesn't necessarily matter, obviously I wouldn't want a box room, just enough to fit every furnishing I want in there. However, I don't want my bedroom heavily decorated because it makes it looked cluttered. I definitely want a balcony even if the view isn't the sea. Either that or a huge window. As you can see, I'm not one for privacy.

So I have seemed to have developed an obsession for stairs. I love these ones because they look like they're levitating and also because they are lit up. I like the window following the stairs to. Another favourite of mine are spiral staircases. Glass ones of those will do me lovely.

And when it comes to the outside/garden, I'm easily pleased so I'll leave you with some images of some of my favourite outdoor designs which I've stumbled across.
